Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James A. Kuykendall Agape Christian Ministries led its first service on March 1, 1987. “We began this incredible journey learning to walk by faith and not by sight. Our God has led us every step of the way and has proven to be Jehovah Jireh and our El Shaddai, the God that supplies all our needs and He is the “All Sufficient One.'”

The results have been implausible. Hundreds, literally thousands have received Jesus Christ as their Personal Lord and Savior. Many have become empowered by the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit, receiving healing, deliverance, and restoration of family. People have joined together in holy matrimony, children have been born and families have been established. By the grace of God, He has equipped us to raise a generation of people to give birth to many ministries: Dance Ministry; Prison Ministry; Adult Choir; Junior Choir; Teen Ministry; Bridging the Gap Programs; Men’s Fellowship; Women’s Fellowship; Children’s Church; “My Son” Boys Ministry; Book & Tape Store; Girls Fellowship; Home & Foreign Missions; and TV Broadcasts.

Our Vision For The Appointed Time

• To teach the uncompromised Word of God.
• To reach the multitudes of people who are unsaved in this city [of Paterson, NJ], and surrounding towns and cities.
• Souls will be saved; backsliders will be reclaimed; signs; wonders; miracles; breakthroughs; deliverance will manifest mightily in this house all to the glory , and the honor, and the praise of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
